# Revoke a child key

> Revoke one of your ScripX child API keys immediately: the hash stops matching on the next request, with no propagation delay.

Kills a child key immediately. The next request with it fails auth; there is no propagation window. Revocation is permanent, mint a fresh key to restore access.

### Errors

* `404 not_found`, the key id is not one of your children.
